"Patricia was loosely based on my mother's neuroses, but Kate O'Flynn's audition tape took the character to a whole new level," Dippold explains. "She has this unique ability to find a haunted quality within the character, which was not what we initially envisioned, but it worked perfectly."
Murai adds, "It's as if Patricia was already fully realized, and Kate's performance brought her to life in a way we couldn't have imagined."
